In-Person Distance Learning Help Program

The Fairfax County Public School (FCPS) board voted on a 100% Online Learning approach for the 2020-21 school year.

100% Online Learning - At the elementary school level, FCPS staff will provide approximately 2.5-3.5 hours per day of direct, synchronous instruction (whole group, small group, and individual). Students will have online learning on their own the rest of the day.

Rise and Shine Kidz is proud to provide families with in-person learning program that fits the FCPS schedule. It's based on a classroom pod of no more than 10 kids per room.

Sibling Discount: 5% for 2nd child, 10% for 3rd child.

11:10 AM- 12:10 PM - Lunch and Recess

12:10-1:10 PM - Language Arts:

1:20-1:50 PM - Specials: Art, Music, Physical Education, or other

1:50-2:50 PM - Specialized Instruction: Opportunity for special education, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Advanced Academic Programs (AAP) services, additional teacher led instruction for small groups, teacher assigned independent work.

2:50- 4:00 PM - Tutoring, reading, homework help, enrichment activities
​
4:00-5:30 PM - End of day wrap up and free choice, including some additional enrichment activities.
